Love this karate school! There is total harmony in how they teach kids about responsibility, respect, self control and the physical aspects of karate. The teachers are well informed on child development and incorporate exercises that cross the midline and build core strength through games. The schedule is helpful to make sure you get your money's worth on classes and flexible so you can work it in around other activities. Everything about the school's structure is meant to support kids growth and make it easy for their families.

My son has been apart of this organization since summer time. I appreciate the fact that the instructors are dedicated to the students. Master Barnes and Mr. Z instill discipline, integrity, professionalism, and respect in their students with such pose and grace. Having my son there is an honor and we enjoy every moment there. Thank you for a wonderful experience and we shall continue to look forward to growing in the Pro Martial Arts family.

PMA Wilmington has become a natural extension of our family. The philosophy and practices align perfectly with our personal values. The instructors are competent and compassionate and serve as excellent role models for our three children.

My children have been taking classes at Pro Martial Arts for 6+ months and have loved it from the beginning. The instructors are caring but firm and make the classes fun. I appreciate the focus on character development and the instructors make their points without "lecturing." All the children are encouraged to grow in their karate skills and knowledge while taking part in a fun class each week!

Best place ever! This is the only karate school i would suggest in the area! As a teacher this place is wonderful for adults and children!

Karate has made me stronger physically and mentally. I have had to do things that I never thought that I could do. Karate has made me realize that girls can be just as strong as boys if they have the determination to reach their full potential. I am encouraged to try new things and am supported the entire way. The environment is welcoming and family-like. I'm always in a better mood at the end of karate than when I arrive, not once have I wanted to quit. When I was younger, karate was fun and entertaining: now it has become my passion and my favorite thing to do!

My daughter achieved her Pro Martial Arts Black Belt as an eight year old. Growing up with karate taught Addie confidence and discipline. That focus has helped her become an excellent student and elite athlete. Plus, she would be the last kid targeted on the playground.

 At Pro Martial Arts, my daughter has developed strength, poise, self-confidence and respect for self and others. In addition, she has had opportunities to (1) master increasingly difficult skills and to advance in rank, (2) develop leadership skills and (3) be a role model for younger students.

Pro Martial Arts has been an integral influence on our son’s confidence. Not one for competition, he has thrived in the supportive environment of Pro Martial Arts. The values he has leaned through Karate have resonated throughout his life and we couldn’t be more thankful.
