Kyo Sa Ron Minakowski
Mr. Minakowski began training at PMA in 2004, becoming an Assistant Instructor in 2009. He currently holds the rank of 3rd Dan and Kyo Sa Nim. Mr Minakowski employs a teaching style that reflects his military background and "lead by example" approach. His booming voice and upbeat personality serve him well in capturing and holding a class’s attention. He is famous for his warm ups, which are both creative and challenging. Always ready to go, those who know him swear he has never had a bad day in his life. It is this positive outlook that makes him such a popular figure in the dojo. When not teaching, Mr Minakowski maintains a busy schedule working fulltime as a Loan Officer for PNC Bank and partime as gameday security for his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. Despite these diverse commitments, he always finds time to pursue his passion as a martial arts student and instructor. Outside the school Mr. Minakowski enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 daughters, coaching softball, cycling and cold weather camping.
