Master Stuart Barnes
Master Barnes has been the owner of Pro Martial Arts, Wilmington since it opened in 2001. He continues to be both a dedicated instructor and an avid student, having tested for his 5th Dan in April 2011. During his tenure at Pro Martial Arts, Master Barnes has committed himself to helping his students grow and achieve in all aspects of life. With a strong commitment to both technical excellence and the healthy lifestyle so central to martial arts training, Master Barnes employs a unique balance of discipline, energy and humor to motivate his students and staff. He continues to emphasize the value of martial arts training as a vehicle for teaching the lessons of discipline, quiet confidence, respect and commitment so important to success, both on the mats and in daily life. When not at the school, Master Barnes enjoys playing golf, working out and spending time with his wife and three children.
