Pro Martial Arts Wilmington will hold a Gup Test on Saturday, June 15th, at noon. Our students are working hard to prepare and will no doubt be giving their all! Please feel free to come out to support your favorite martial artists and watch some great karate. Black Belt recertifications begin at 12:45, where advanced skills and weapons will be on display. All students should make a point to remember that they must wear full uniform (including gi top) to the test. We hope to see you all then!

Karate has made me stronger physically and mentally. I have had to do things that I never thought that I could do. Karate has made me realize that girls can be just as strong as boys if they have the determination to reach their full potential. I am encouraged to try new things and am supported the entire way. The environment is welcoming and family-like. I'm always in a better mood at the end of karate than when I arrive, not once have I wanted to quit. When I was younger, karate was fun and entertaining: now it has become my passion and my favorite thing to do!
My daughter achieved her Pro Martial Arts Black Belt as an eight year old. Growing up with karate taught Addie confidence and discipline. That focus has helped her become an excellent student and elite athlete. Plus, she would be the last kid targeted on the playground.
